The former Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson has revealed that he would be happy if the Decision Review System or DRS is scrapped altogether. Johnson retired at the end of the historic day and night Test in November last year is of the opinion that the technology used in DRS needs some serious improvisation and till it is done the decisions made by on-field umpires should be deemed final. Johnson said, "in my mind, we need to decide if we want to use technology properly or not use it at all. To be honest I would be happy if they left everything to the on-field umpire. I am happy to have no DRS – cricket worked pretty well without it for over 100 years. I tend to agree with India’s perspective on the DRS debate – its either got to be spot on or not used at all."
